When someone asks me what IDRF does, I say “we save lives and rebuild communities.”
As the IDRF Director of Programs, I have the honour and privilege of seeing the fruits of this mission statement, every day, in the lives of the people that we support.
Whether it is through our education projects that enable a child to read, a food package for a hungry family in Gaza or a water well that enables a young girl to stay in school instead of walk miles for clean water, all of these actions make meaningful differences in the lives of vulnerable people.
Our upcoming Dignity Walk is a part of our latest efforts to enable all people to live with Dignity.
Over the next few weeks, stay in touch with us to learn from our board, staff and volunteers about how your dollars support our life changing water, education, emergency relief and healthcare projects.
Mark your calendar for May 20th as we walk for the dignity of all.
